Your account

Your Suede account is a single, global identity at one address — suede.io. Behind that address Suede runs infrastructure in more than one region; your account has a home region that shapes how results are weighted and where your pages are served from. It is not where your data lives in any sense that affects you, and it has no bearing on privacy. Suede does not log your searches in any region.

What lives here

This section covers the whole life of an account:

  • Sign up — open an account. Suede is members-only, so signing up and choosing a plan happen together.
  • Sign in — how logging in works, and how one account reaches every region.
  • Change your email — move your account to a new address safely.
  • Sessions — see where you are signed in, and sign out of one device or all of them.
  • Close your account — cancel and delete the account for good.

Where the controls are

Everything is under Settings → Account: your email and password, the list of signed-in devices, and the controls to close the account. Billing and API keys have their own panes; see Authentication for API access.
