One Suede account signs you in everywhere. Sign-in is handled by Suede's own identity service at
id.suede.io; suede.io hands you to it to log in and receives you back afterward, so your credentials
live in one place.
Signing in
Choose Sign in (or visit /login). You are taken to id.suede.io, enter your email and password,
and are returned to the page you came from, signed in. Sign-in works regardless of how your email is punctuated —
a Gmail dot or a plus-tag variant of your address logs in to the same account (see
Sign up).
One account, every region
Your account is global. One sign-in at suede.io covers every region Suede runs in; there is no separate UK
or US account to create or keep in sync. Your home region affects only how results are weighted and where the
page is served — it is a presentation choice, not where your data is held.
If you forget your password
- On the sign-in screen choose Forgot password, or visit
/forgot, and enter your email address. - Suede emails a reset link, valid for 1 hour. (For your privacy, the page always says a link was sent, whether or not an account exists for that address — so the form never reveals who has an account.)
- Open the link, set a new password (again, at least 8 characters), and sign in.
Resetting your password signs you out of every device and cancels any pending email change — a clean way to secure the account if you suspect someone else has reached it.
